  • North Design Studios is committed to creating attractive, well-functioning design projects and building lasting client relationships. The business began from Shandon’s passion for excellent design along with a love for helping others. It is from these two passions that the focus for every project resides: provide the very best design while incorporating the client’s ideas and brand.

  • About Shandon

  • Shandon North Creative Designer of North Design Studios
  • Shandon earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art and Design with a focus on Graphic Design from Bluffton University. After graduation, he worked in Sales and Marketing at MCR Services, Inc. (a mid-size construction company) in Columbus. It was there that his graphic design skills merged with a love for web design. In August 2009, he branched out on his own to form North Design Studios; a dream of his since college.
  • Shandon truly loves every aspect of the business, though designing and speaking with clients are at the top of his ‘favorites’ list. Shandon appreciates that everyday brings variety in the form of new challenges, a chance to improve his skills and opportunities to design.
  • When Shandon is not designing, you can find him running (he set records in track at both his high school and college), drawing, reading great novels and spending time with family and friends.

  • About Cortney

  • Cortney North of North Design Studios
  • Cortney joined North Design Studios in June 2010 to follow her passion for web design and development. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art and Design and Art Education at Bluffton University. After graduation, she worked for three years as an instructor at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.
  • Her love for web development began from her curiosity in Shandon’s web development projects. It didn’t take long for the curiosity to become a new career path and now she is working full-time with North Design Studios. Much like Shandon, Cortney appreciates the variety everyday brings such as learning new code, assisting clients and planning for the future of the business.
  • When Cortney is not working with the business, you can find her cooking, creating jewelry, making ceramics (she won multiple art awards at the high school and collegiate level) and being with family and friends.
